Built for Real Pet Owners
If you have one dog or five, urine works its way down through the fibers and into the infill where it bonds with bacteria and creates the unmistakable “wet pet” smell. Our pet odor and stain treatment oxidizes the odor-causing bacteria and extracts the built-up gunk — it doesn’t just mask it.
Why desert heat makes pet odor worse
Here’s the part most homeowners don’t realize: the Arizona sun is what makes turf smell so bad. Dog urine is mostly water and urea. The water drains and evaporates, but the urea breaks down into ammonia salts that stay behind in the infill. When the surface temperature climbs — and dark turf in direct Phoenix sun can hit 150°+ — those salts release ammonia gas. That’s why the smell is faint on a cool morning and overpowering by mid-afternoon, and why a winter rinse seems to “work” until the next warm spell.
You can’t out-rinse chemistry. The salts and bacteria have to be broken down and physically pulled out.
Process
- Inspect the turf to pinpoint the worst odor and buildup zones
- Apply our Squeaky Clean™ Formula to oxidize the odor-causing bacteria deep in the turf
- Machine extraction — our extraction machine pulls out the built-up bacteria, gunk, and goo, not just sprays over it
Pet-Safe Guarantee
